About Scotland and us
Scotland is a country in its own right, despite being mostly run by a parliament in England and having to take orders from an unelected, English monarch, whose husband regularly shames the name of our capital city, by sharing racist and generally pishy jokes with the world, under Edinburgh's name. We get to pay for such a liberty. Since treachorous members of the Scottish parliament were bribed to sign our land over to English rule (much against the wishes of the majority of Scots), we have been ruled by London. Even the parliament we elected in 1999, to partially rule us is controled by two London-based parties, with politicians
"not wanting to upset their re-election chances" and "taking orders from England".

As Scots, we are not anti-English (though we do like a bit of banter), we merely want the chance to run our own land. There are several parties supporting Scottish independence, one Welsh and some in Northern Ireland, although it is a lot more complicated there. Why is there no English National Party? There's none, as they already run their own country, it's just they get to rule us, too. We are Scottish patriots and get a chance to express our love for our country and favourite sporting team through our national team - beat that Shakespeare!!!

IT'S TRUE
